The Dancer & The Musician
An Indian Classical dancer of international repute, AYONA BHADURI has been engaged in performance, teaching and research of Indian dance and allied arts over the past 20 years and takes keen interest in the administrative aspect of cultural heritage conservation. An accredited member of CID UNESCO, Junior Research Fellow of MoC, GoI and an ICH Grantee of Sangeet Natak Akademi, Ayona is proficient in both Bharatnatyam and Odissi, has been awarded Sangeet Bivakar for Bharatnatayam by Bangiya Sangeet Parishad and Senior Scholarship in Odissi by MoC, GoI. An alumna of Modern High School for Girls, Kolkata, she opted for a career in Indian dance while continuing with academics as a student of science. Ayona holds BSc with major in Chemistry and MA in Public Administration, both from IGNOU, MA in Vocal Music from Rabindra Bharati University CDOE, Diploma in Nrityashastra from Nalanda Dance Research Centre, has completed a Course on Indology from RKM Institute of Culture, Kolkata and is currently pursuing Diploma in Data Science and Applications at Indian Institute of Technology Madras.

A recipient of the prestigious Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar, a national award conferred by Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi, SRINIBAS SATAPATHY, is an accomplished Hindustani Classical flautist with over twenty years of experience in performance and teaching. A distinguished disciple of Pt. Mohini Mohan Pattanaik and Pt. Rajendra Prasanna, Srinibas holds a Masters in Music in Hindustani Classical Flute from Utkal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, Odisha. A recipient of Senior Scholarship from Ministry of Culture, Government of India, a Graded Artist of the All India Radio and also empanelled with Indian Council for Cultural Relations, Srinibas secured the first position in the National Youth Festival conducted by Ministry of Culture, Government of India in 1997. One of the most sought after flautists from Odisha, Srinibas has accompanied both his Gurus in numerous concerts both in India and abroad. Having been groomed further by Pt. Madhup Mudgal at Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, New Delhi, he has also accompanied Madhupji in several concerts notable among which are Oster Festival in Austria, Girona in Spain and Theatre de la Ville in Paris. Gifted with an intuitive feel for dance, Srinibas has not only accompanied internationally renowned Odissi dancers such as Madhavi Mudgal, Sonal Mansingh, Sujata and Ratikant Mahapatra, Aruna Mohanty, Bijayini Satpathy and Surupa Sen on prestigious national and international stages, but has also composed music for Odissi dance assisting legendary Pt. Raghunath Panighrahi for Nrityagram’s internationally-premiered production Ansh in 2004. In the recent past, he has also composed music for Odissi dancers Ratikant Mahapatra, Meera Das, Aruna Mohanty.
In 2016, Satapathy was commissioned to compose music for SHIVASYA SHIVAA, a solo Odissi dance work, under the aegis of Serendipity Arts Foundation, New Delhi, which premiered at the very 1st edition of Serendipity Arts Festival, Goa.
